The Amper (known in its upper reaches as the Ammer) is a river in southern Bavaria, Germany. It is the largest tributary of the Isar river. The Amper flows into the Isar in Moosburg, 185 kilometres from its source and with a flow of 45 m³/s. It runs through the Ammersee; upstream of the Ammersee it is known as the Ammer. The complex of buildings consists of two ice rinks, one generally used for training purposes. The second arena is the home venue of the Landshut Cannibals, a professional ice hockey team participating in Germany's 2nd Bundesliga. The major arena currently holds about 7,000 people.
