Kpandu

Kpandu is a town and the capital of Kpando District in the mountainous Volta Region of Ghana. It is near the north eastern arm of Lake Volta and the Togo border. Kpandu is the fifty-fourth most populous in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 28,334 people. Kpandu is connected by ferry and road to Gbefi, Hohoe, Ho and Dumbai. The Kpando District is a district of Ghana in the Volta Region. It is one of the oldest administrative districts in Ghana.

Vane, Avatime

Avatime Vane is the capital of the Avatime Traditional Area. It is located on the Eastern section of the Akuapem-Togo ranges, an ancient volcanic mountain formation that rises from the lower Volta basin and runs in a North-Easterly direction into Togo Republic. Vane is located on the main Ho-Fume road and is the first settlement located on highlands North East of Dzolokpuita (about 5km South) Vane is where the Osie or overlord of Avatime resides.

Amedzofe, Ghana

Amedzofe is a settlement south of Hohoe in the mountaineous region of the Hohoe Municipal District of the Volta Region of Ghana. It has played a role in the nineteenth century Anglo-Ashanti Wars. The Amedzofe Training School was built in 1880 by German Missionaries. It is at an altitude of 677 metres, (2,224 feet) above sea level.
