Nzulezo

The village of Nzulezo (or Nzulzu) is located near the village of Beyin, roughly 90 kilometers west of Takoradi, in the Jomoro District of the Western Region of Ghana. Nzulezo overlooks the Lake Tadane, and is entirely made up of stilts and platforms. In 2000, it was nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is a major tourist attraction area.

Kengen, Ghana

Kengen originally called Kenrene (pronounced kɛnrɛne) is a town in Jomoro District of Jomoro Constituency of the Western Region of Ghana. Other people have ascribed names such as Kangan or Kangane but this is as a result of mis-pronunciation by non indigenous writers.

Ankobra River

The Ankobra River is situated in Western Africa. Rising north east of Wiawso, it flows about 120 miles (190 km) south to the Gulf of Guinea. Its entire course is in southern Ghana. Up to Tumentu the river is tidal. The Ankobra is fed by the Fure River, Mansi River, Nini River, and Bonsa River. Small craft can navigate approximately eighty kilometers inland, whilst the upper reaches contain rapids. Several hydro electric schemes have been proposed for the upper reaches.

Bobowasi Island

Bobowasi Island is an island in the African country of Ghana located in the Axim Bay in the Atlantic Ocean, near the town of Axim (to 1.8 km) and the castle of the same name (Axim Castle) north of the Watts rock, east of the Egwang Rock to the south of the Mensell Hedwig Rock, at the geographic coordinates {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:04|52|N|02|15|W||| | |name= }} it installed a lighthouse, which serves the sector. Administratively it is part of the Western Region of Ghana.
