Apam

Apam is a coastal town in the Central Region of Ghana, located approximately 45km east of the regional capital of Cape Coast. Apam is the site of Fort Lijdzaamheid, a Dutch-built fort which was completed in 1702, which dominates the fishing harbour and town from a rocky peninsula located on the south side of the town.

Winneba

Winneba, traditionally known as Simpa, also (informally) known as the Land of the Gharteys because its royals and many of its inhabitants bear this name, is an historic fishing town in Ghana, lying on the south coast, 35 miles west of Accra and 90 miles east of Cape Coast. The population was recorded as 40,017 in a census in 2000. Its inhabitants are known as Simpafo or Effutufo. It is the capital of the Awutu/Effutu/Senya District in Central Region.

Mankessim

Mankessim is town located in the Central Region of Ghana, West Africa. It is located approximately 85 km west of Accra on the main road to Sekondi-Takoradi. It is the traditional headquarters of the Fante community of Ghana. Mankessim's history is linked to three famed – warriors Obrumankoma, Odapagyan and Oson – who helped the people's migration from Takyiman in the current Brong Ahafo region to Adoagyir in the Central region.
