Nsawam

Nsawam is a town in the Eastern Region of Ghana approximately 40 km northwest from the capital, Accra. It is controlled by the Akwapim South Municipal Assembly. It is also known as the 'Bread Capital of the World' because the main occupation of the women is to bake bread and sell the bread the whole day to travellers who travel through Nsawam on the main road from Accra to Kumasi, and to other destinations. BOPA College of Arts and Sciences is also situated in Nsawam.

Ga West Municipal District

The Ga West Municipal is one of the ten (10) districts in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Its capital is Amasaman. The district is among the new districts and municipalities created in 2008 by the then President, John Kufuor. It was inaugurated on 29 February 2008.

Taifa, Accra

Taifa is a town in the Ga East Municipal District, a district in the Greater Accra Region of southeastern Ghana near the capital Accra. Taifa is the twenty-sixth largest settlement in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 68,459 people. Taifa is located in the northwest suburbs area of Accra. It has a breakpoint on a railway line and a small park located on the northern edge of the location of the Taifa Ghana Atomic Energy Commission.

Buduburam

Buduburam is a refugee camp located 44 kilometers west of Accra, Ghana. Opened by the UNHCR in 1990, the camp is home to more than 12,000 refugees from Liberia who fled their country during the First Liberian Civil War (1989–1996) and the Second Liberian Civil War (1999–2003), in addition to refugees from Sierra Leone who also escaped from the ravages of their civil war (1991–2001). The camp is served by Liberian and international NGO groups and volunteer organizations.
