Princes Town, Ghana
Princes Town is located 5 km east of Fort St. Antonio on Manfro Hill in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region of Ghana. It lies between Axim to the west and Takoradi to the east. The original name of this West African town was "Kpokezoe". On 1 January 1681, a Brandenburger expedition of two ships commanded by Otto Friedrich von der Groeben, arrived in the Gold Coast, and began to build a strong fort between Axim and the Cape of Three Points.

Ankobra River
The Ankobra River is situated in Western Africa. Rising north east of Wiawso, it flows about 120 miles (190 km) south to the Gulf of Guinea. Its entire course is in southern Ghana. Up to Tumentu the river is tidal. The Ankobra is fed by the Fure River, Mansi River, Nini River, and Bonsa River. Small craft can navigate approximately eighty kilometers inland, whilst the upper reaches contain rapids. Several hydro electric schemes have been proposed for the upper reaches.
