El Chal is a pre-Columbian Maya archaeological site located in the upper San Juan River valley of the southeastern Petén Basin region, Guatemala. The site is situated approximately 30 kilometres to the north of the modern town of Dolores, near the contemporary village settlement of the same name, lying some 600 metres to the south.

Ixkun

Ixkun (Ixcún or Ixkún in Spanish orthography) is a pre-Columbian Maya archaeological site, situated in the Petén Basin region of the southern Maya lowlands. It lies to the north of the town of Dolores, in the modern-day department of Petén, Guatemala. It is a large site containing many unrestored mounds and ruins and is the best known archaeological site within the municipality of Dolores.

Museo Regional del Sureste de Petén

The Museo Regional del Sureste de Petén ("Southeastern Petén Regional Museum") is an archaeological museum in the town of Dolores in the Petén Department of Guatemala. The museum is located 82 kilometres from Flores, the departmental capital, among the Maya Mountains in an area rich in archaeological sites. It is open daily from 8am to 5pm.

Dolores, El Petén

Ixtonton is a Maya archaeological site in the department of Petén in northern Guatemala. It is located in the northwestern portion of the Maya Mountains in the municipality of Dolores.
