Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh

Anantapur City is head quarter and municipal corporation of the Anantapur district of the state Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the largest district of Andhra Pradesh with 64 mandals (administrative divisions). It is known for being the district with second lowest rain fall in India after Jaisalmerdistrict of Rajasthan State. It is located 356 kilometres south of the state capital, Hyderabad and 196 kilometres north of Bangalore on the NH-7.

Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy Stadium

Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy Stadium (also known as District College Stadium) is a cricket ground in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Having originally been called the District College Stadium, it was later named after Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, the sixth President of India. The ground first held a first-class match in 1964 when Andhra Pradesh played Madras in the 1963/64 Ranji Trophy.
