Shivalik Enclave

Shivalik Enclave is situated between Manimajra (now called the manimajra town) and Panchkula. Shivalik Enclave is a part of Chandigarh and one of its boundaries touches the Haryana border. At the time of its conception it was called Notified Area Committee Manimajra, but the residents changed the name to "Shivalik Enclave".

Sukhna Lake

Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, India is an artificial lake at the foothills of the Himalayas, the Shivalik hills. This 3 km² rainfed lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills. Originally the seasonal flow entered the lake directly causing heavy siltation. To check the inflow of silt, 25.42 km² of land was acquired in the catchment area and put under vegetation.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport or Chandigarh Airport is an airport located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh (The Capital city of Haryana and Punjab), India. It is listed as one of the major airports in North India. Instead of leaving the airport as domestic airport, work is underway for an International airport. Currently, total of 19 domestic flights connect Chandigarh to different destinations in India.

Chandigarh International Airport

Chandigarh International Airport is a in-development International airport serving Chandigarh, and the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh in India. It will be the second international airport in Punjab after Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar. According to plans, the existing infrastructure of the civil-cum-defence airport at Chandigarh would be integrated into the new Chandigarh international airport.

Panchkula district

Panchkula district was formed as the 17th district of Haryana state in India. As formed 15 August 1995, it comprises two sub divisions and two Tehsils named Panchkula and Kalka. It has 264 villages out of which 12 villages are un-inhabited and 10 villages wholly merged in towns or treated as census towns according to census 1991. There are five towns in the district named Barwala, Kalka, Panchkula, Pinjore and Raipur Rani.
