Ponda, Goa

Ponda, also known as Fonda, is a city and a municipal council in the North Goa district of Goa, India. Located in the central area of Goa, Ponda lies 29 kilometres southeast of Panaji, the capital of Goa. Ramnathi

The temple of Ramnathi is located in Ramnathim, Bandivade in Goa. This temple belongs to the Gaud saraswat Brahmins. Similar to other Goan Brahmin temples, Ramnathi too incorporates the system of Panchayasthan, therefore this temple house 5 main deities namely - Shri Ramanath (chief deity), Shanteri, Kamakshi, Laxmi Narayan, Ganapati, Betal and Kalbhairav, along with other family purushas.

Rachol Seminary

The Rachol Seminary, also known today as the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol (known as Raiturchi Patriarkal Siminar in Konkani, the native language of Goa; Seminário de Rachol in Portuguese), is the diocesan major seminary of the Primatial Catholic Archdiocese of Goa and Daman.

Goa Engineering College

Goa Engineering College (GEC) is a government-run college in Goa, India, offering courses in engineering disciplines. It is located in Farmagudi, Ponda. Founded in 1967, it is the oldest engineering college in Goa and is one of the four engineering colleges in the state. It is a NBA accredited degree level engineering college. The college is affiliated to Goa University.

Arlem Breweries Ground

Arlem Breweries Ground is a cricket ground in Margao, Goa, India. Established in 1976, the ground held its first first-class to be played there came in the 1985/86 Ranji Trophy when Goa played Hyderabad. Between the 1985/86 season and the 2003/04 season, the ground held twleve first-class matches. The first List A match played there came when Goa played Andhra Pradesh in the 1994/95 Ranji Trophy one-day competition.
