Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary

Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary also known as the Wild Ass Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Little Rann of Kutch in the Gujarat state of India. Spread over 4954 km², it is the largest wildlife sanctuary in India. The wildlife sanctuary was established in 1972 and came under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1973.

Muli State

The Muli Princely State had an area of 133 square miles and contained nineteen villages in addition to Muli city. The Parmaras came to this area from Tharparkar District, Sindh, Pakistan. The Parmaras' Lakh Dirji named this Princely State after a milkmaid who used to deliver milk to Lakh Dirji. The town is famous for the battle fought between the Chabhad and the Parmaras for a wounded partridge.
