Prem Mandir

Prem Mandir, meaning 'Temple of love' in Hindi and Gujarati is a Syro-Malabar Catholic cathedral in Rajkot, India. It is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is situated near the bishop's house. The striking aspect of the cathedral is its architecture which predominantly resembles a traditional Indian temple, but in fact blends architectural features of various religions. The cathedral was designed by Ashwinbhai Sanghvi and the glass work was done by Balan.

Kaba Gandhi No Delo

Kaba Gandhi No Delo (literally "Kaba Gandhi's house"), Rajkot is the place where the Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his stay in Rajkot in the early years of his life. It has now been converted into a museum called Gandhi Smriti. Mahatma Gandhi's father, in the name of Karamchand Gandhi was also known as Kaba Gandhi. The name of the house has been derived form Gandhiji's father's name. In Gujarati, the words Kaba Gandhi No Delo literally means 'Kaba Gandhi's residence'.
