Jind district

Jind district is one of the 21 districts of Haryana state in northern India. Jind town is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is part of Hisar Division. It was organized in 1966. It was one of the first Sikh Kingdoms. It lies in central Haryana and is the fourth district of the Jat belt (i.e. Sonipat, Rohtak, Hissar, Jind).
