Nilokheri

Karna Lake

Karna Lake is a major tourist attraction in the Karnal district of Haryana. It is located at a distance of 125 km from both Chandigarh and Delhi, thus serving as a midway halt while traveling between the two cities on the famous Grand Trunk Road. Folklore has it that Karna, a famous character from Indian history, who played a major role in the war of Mahabharat, used to bathe in this lake.

Karnal Flying Club

Karnal Flying Club,better known as KARNAL AIRPORT, is a small airstrip situated about 3 kilometres east of the city of Karnal, in the state of Haryana, India. Is is being used for General Aviation and Pilot Training. The Karnal Flying Club has been running at this airfield since 1967 year . Its operations were expanded in 1999 by merging it with the Hisar Aviation Club and Pinjore Aviation Club.
