Rajban

Rajban is small town near Paonta Sahib in the Sirmaur district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Rajban is home to one of the oldest cement factory(CCI) in himachal. It is located on the river bank, where river tohns and river giri converge. Though rajban is a very small town but still its full of scenic beauty with a dense forest adjacent to it and the high steep hills could be seen easily from the landscapes of the rajban town.

Ichari Dam

The Ichari Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Tons River 13 km north of Dakpathar in Uttarakhand, India. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power production and it is a run-of-the-river-type. It was completed in 1972. The dam diverts water to the Chibro Power Station (240 MW) which is then returned to the Tons River before being fed to the Khodri Power Station (120 MW).

Tons River

The Tons is the largest tributary of the Yamuna and flows through Garhwal region in Uttarakhand, touching Himachal Pradesh. The Tons thrust is named after this river. Its source lies in the 20,720 ft (6,315 meters)) high Bandarpunch mountain, and is one of the most major perennial Indian Himalayan rivers. In fact, it carries more water than the Yamuna itself, which its meets below Kalsi near Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Dakpathar Barrage

The Dakpathar Barrage is a concrete barrage across the Yamuna River adjacent to Dakpathar in Uttarakhand, India. In a run-of-the-river scheme, the barrage serves to divert water into the East Yamuna Canal for hydroelectric power production at the Dhakrani and Dhalipur Power Plants. The foundation stone for the dam was laid on 23 May 1949 by India's Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The project was delayed due to funding and both power stations were commissioned in 1965.
