Kahlur

Kahlur (also known as Bilaspur), covering an area of 1173 km², and currently a part of Himachal Pradesh state, was one of the Princely states of India during the period of the British Raj. The state was founded in/around 697 by Kahal Chand. Kahal Chand had built a fort, which was named after him, and was called Kahlur Fort. Another ruler of the state, Dip Chand founded the city of Bilaspur, and made it his capital. The state was acceded to India on 12 October 1948.

Lohnu Cricket Ground

Lohnu Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, India. The first recorded match on the ground came when Himachal Pradesh Under-16s played Jammu and Kashmir Under-16s in 1999. The ground held its first first-class match in 2001 when Himachal Pradesh played Delhi in the 2001/02 Ranji Trophy. The following season a further first-class match was held when Himachal Predesh played Hyderabad in the 2002/03 Ranji Trophy. No further major matches have been staged there.

Arki Fort

Arki fort is located in Arki, India, a town in Himachal Pradesh . The Arki Fort was built between 1695 - 1700 by Rana Prithvi Singh, a descendent of Rana Sabha Chand. The Fort was captured by the Gurkhas in 1806. Rana Jagat Singh, the ruler of Baghal had to take refuge in Nalagarh. During this period from 1806 - 1815, the Gurkha General Amar Singh Thapa used Arki as his stronghold to make further advances into Himachal Pradesh as far as Kangra.

Baghal, India

Baghal, covering an area of 312 km² and currently a part of Himachal Pradesh state, was one of the Princely states of India during the period of the British Raj. The state was founded by Rana Sabha Chand in the year 1643, and was acceded to India on 15 April 1948. The capital of Baghal was Arki.
