Bashohli
Bashohli (Basoli) is a town and a notified area committee in Kathua district in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India. It is situated on the right bank of River Ravi at an altitude of 1876 ft. It is founded by Raja Bhupat Pal sometimes in 1635. It was known for magnificent places which are now in ruins and miniatures paintings (Basohli Paintings).

Chamera Dam

After completion of the first phase, the Chamera dam generates 540 MW of electricity. The second stage of Chamera dam i.e. Chamera-II Dam generates 300 MW of electricity. From year 2012, the 3rd stage of Chamera Dam is also under operation.

Billawar
Billawar is a town and a notified area committee in Kathua district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Billawar is also a tehsil. It is also known as Balaur. Billawar was founded by Raja Bhopat Pal in 1598-1614 and it remained the capital of Basohli Rajas. The descendants of the Royal family are known as “Billawaria, Baloria, Balouria or Billauria” all being the modern day spelling variants. The town has some ancient monuments.
