Madikeri

Panathur – Karike belt

Panathur – Karike belt is on the border of Kasargod district of Kerala & Coorg and Dakshina Kannada districts in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is 44 km east of Kanhangad, 30 km from Bangamangala in Coorg and 22 km from Sullia in Dakshina Kannada. Kerala and Karnataka are separated by the Manjanadukkam Puzha River. In Panathur, people speak Malayalam and in Karike Kannada. Marathi, Tulu, Kongani and Harijan Bashe are also spoken here.

Raja's Seat

Raja's Seat (Seat of the King) is a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. It is one of the most important tourist spots in maidekeri of Coorg District. It is 270 km away from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka.
