Minto Eye Hospital

Minto Eye Hospital is government-run speciality hospital in Bangalore treating diseases of the eye. Minto Ophthalmic Hospital, (a.k.a. Minto Regional Institute of Ophthalmology), was established in 1903, making it one of the oldest specialty eye hospitals in the world. It is affiliated to the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, and is an institution of national importance. Hundreds of ophthalmologists have been trained at this institute since its inception.

Victoria Hospital (Bangalore Medical College)

Victoria Hospital is a government run hospital affiliated with Bangalore Medical College now renamed Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. It is the largest hospital in Bangalore, India. Started by Shri Krishnaraja Wodeyar, the then Maharaja of Mysore in 1901, the hospital soon rose to be among the prominent hospitals in South India.

Dodda Ganeshana Gudi

Dodda Basavana Gudi (the Bull Temple) is situated in the N.R. Colony, Basavanagudi, area of South Bangalore, part of the largest city of the Indian state of Karnataka. The Hindu temple is inside the a park called Bugle Rock. The bull referred to is a sacred Hindu demi-god, known as Nandi; Nandi is a close devotee and attendant of Shiva. Dodda Basavana Gudi is said to be the biggest temple to Nandi in the world.
