Maramon Convention

Kattoor, Pathanamthitta

Kattoor is a village near Kozhencherry on the southern side of Pamba river on the way from Kozhencherry to Ranni in Cherukole Panchayath in Pathanamthitta District which is part of the state of Kerala, India. Kattoor is situated 5 km east of Kozhencherry town and 9 km west of Ranni town.

Ranni

Ranni, sometimes spelled Ranny, is one of the 5 Taluks in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, in India. According to the Census of India 2001, the population was 207,782. The taluk headquarters is a small township on both sides of the Pamba River. Ranni is also one of the largest taluks in Kerala. The renowned Hindu temple of Sabarimala is in this taluk, situated approximately 66 km from the main town, Ittiappara. Ranni is known for its natural beauty, forests, hills, river and good climate.

Aranmula

Aranmula is a village in the state of Kerala, India. At a distance of about 128 km from Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala, it is situated on the banks of the river Pampa, as a suburb of Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta District. Nearby important towns are Pathanamthitta (10 km), Pandalam (14 km) Chengannur (10 km). The nearest railway station is at Chengannur and airports are at Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. It is the venue of the annual snake boat race on the Pampa river.
