Guruvayur Railway Station is a railway station situated in Guruvayur, Thrissur District, Kerala. The station is the terminating station for the Thrissur-Guruvayur Section. It have two platforms and is the point station for the Guruvayur Temple.

Palayoor

Palayoor is famous for its Christian church, St. Thomas Church which is believed to have been established by St. Thomas the Apostle in 52 AD. It was the first Christian Church in India. St. Thomas, the Apostle, arrived in 52 AD at Crangannur {now Kodungallur} with Jewish merchants for the propagation of Christ’s message and through the sea route reached Palayoor in 52 AD and built the Church here. Palayoor also had an ancient Jewish settlement known as the Jews' Hill.

St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, Palayur

St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, Palayur is located at Palayur (also spelt Palayoor), in Thrissur district in Kerala on the west coast of India. According to tradition, it was established in 52 AD by St Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. Palayoor church is the oldest Church in India and is called an Apostolic Church credited to the Apostolate of St. Thomas who preached and also started conversion of people to Christianity here.

Kunnamkulam

Kunnamkulam is a municipal town situated in the Thrissur District of Kerala in India, spread over an area of 34.18 km. It is an old commercial town, with an ancient history, famous for its printing and book binding industry. It is the chief centre of the Orthodox Christians in the Kerala state. In the past the town was called Kunankulangara and references can be seen in lot of British Archives about a neat and prosperous town which was predominantly Christian.
