Kareli, Madhya Pradesh

Kareli is a town and a nagar palika in Narsinghpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Before the construction of the Bina-Katni branch of the Indian Midland Railway, the metalled road from Saugor crossing the Nerbudda at Barmhan brought the bulk of the produce of the Saugor District to Kareli station. A mail cart ran from Kareli to Saugor, a distance of 75 miles.

Amagaon

Amagaon is a village in Belgaum district in the southern state of Karnataka, India. Amagaon nestles in the dense forests of the Western Ghats in the Khanapur taluk of Belgaum district and is known for its heavy rainfall. It is known to get over 10,000 mm annual rainfall occasionally and the average annual rainfall is around 9000 mm. The surroundings of the village located in the Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary which has been declared as protected area for its medicinal plants.

Narsinghpur district (also referred to Narsimhapur district) is a district of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. The town of Narsinghpur is administrative headquarters of the district.

Narsinghpur

Narsinghpur or Narsimhapur is a town in Madhya Pradesh in central India. It is the capital of the Narsinghpur District. Narsinghpur has a large temple dedicated to Lord Narsingh, constructed by Jat Sardar in the 18th century. The Khirwar clan of Jats came from Brij and founded Narsinghpur, where they ruled for many years. Khirwars of Narsinghpur were followers of Narsingh, and so constructed two temples dedicated to Narsingh Avatar.
