Barwani district

Barwani district (Hindi: बड़वानी जिला) is one of the districts of Madhya Pradesh state of India. The administrative head quarter of the district is at Barwani. Barwani

Barwani is a city and a municipality in Barwani District in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The city is situated near the left bank of the Narmada River, and is the administrative headquarter of Barwani District. It has served as the capital of the former princely state of Barwani. It can be reached by road only. Nearest airport and railway station are located at Indore 150 KM from Barwani. Bawangaja, a Jain pilgrimage place, is 8 km from Barwani.

State Bank of Indore

State Bank of Indore (Indore Bank) was a government-owned Indian bank and the largest of State Bank of India's (SBI) six associate bank subsidiaries. In October 2009, the Government of India gave its in-principle approval to a merger between State Bank of India and State Bank of Indore. On 15 July 2010 the Cabinet cleared the merger.
