Amravati Airport

Amravati Airport, also known as Belora Airstrip is located in Belora, 15 kilometres south of Amravati, Maharashtra, India. The airstrip, constructed by the Public Works Department in 1992, was taken over by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in August 1997. It is now being managed by the Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC). It covers an area of 74.86 hectares and has a 4500 foot runway, a 60 metre by 45 metre apron and a Terminal building.

Badnera (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is one of the 288 constituencies of Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha and one of the eight which are located in Amravati district. It is a part of Amravati (Lok Sabha constituency) along with five other Vidhan Sabha assembly constituencies viz. Amravati, Teosa, Daryapur (SC), Melghat (ST) and Achalpur. The remaining two Dhamangaon Railway and Morshi constituencies are part of Wardha (Lok Sabha constituency) in adjoining Wardha district.

Badnera railway station serves Badnera in Amravati district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a junction station on the Howrah-Nagpur-Mumbai line. There is a broad gauge line to Narkhed.

Karanja Lad

Karanja or Karanja Lad is a city and a municipal council in Washim district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Karanja is also known as Karanja Lad and mainly referred to as such. The town is named after Saint Karanj. Karanja is a holy place for Hindus, Muslims and Jains. It is the birthplace of Shri Nrusimha Saraswati Swami Maharaj, believed to be the 2nd incarnation of Lord Dattatreya. There is a large lake in Karanja Lad, known as "Rishi Talao".
