Pavana River

Pavana river (Pavna) is situated in the west of Maharashtra state, India in the Pune District. It originates in the Western ghats. It is a tributary of Bhima river and merges in the Mula river in Pune city. It flows through Pune city and divides Pune City and Pimpri Chinchwad area. A dam is built on this river at Pavananagar called as the Pavananagar dam.

Army Institute of Technology (AIT) is an undergraduate engineering college located in the Dighi Hills area in Pune, Maharashtra, India and affiliated to the University of Pune.
