Raireshwar

Raireshwar is situated in Bhor Taluka near Pune, India. Raireshwar has a temple famous for its historical importance. The temple is very old and of stone structure, but it was later re-constructed in 18th century. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took the oath of Hindavi Swarajya in this temple at the age of 16 in 1645 and then created history. Its said that he had cut his little finger and taken the oath by dripping blood onto the Shivling.

Yerwada

Yerawada  pronunciation is a City neighbourhood of Pune City in the State of Maharashtra, India. Before the Britishraj Yerawada was known as Yeraoda. Yerawada is one of the most densely populated area in Pune City. This place is located at the beginning of Ahmednagar highway and also on the way to old Pune Airport at Lohgaon. This place lies between Viman Nagar and Koregaon Park and can be reached after crossing Mula-Mutha River through Yerawada Bridge from Bund Garden.

Ambenali ghat

Ambenali Ghat is a mountain pass in Maharashtra, India cutting across the Western Ghats range. It connects the coastal Raigad District Konkan region of Maharashtra with the Satara District Desh region on the Deccan plateau. It is one of few link roads between the Konkan and Ghatmaatha in Maharashtra. The road, a state highway, is at an average elevation of 625 m (2,051 ft). It links the cities of Mahad (Raigad district) and Mahabaleshwar (Satara district). It ends in Poladpur.

Venna Lake

Venna lake is one of the major tourist attractions of Mahabaleshwar in Maharashtra state in India. The lake was constructed by Shri Appasaheb Maharj, who was Raja of Satara in the year 1842. The lake is surrounded by trees on all sides. Tourists can enjoy a boat ride over the lake or a horse ride next to the lake. A number of small eateries line the banks of the lake. The Mahabaleshwar city market and the S.T. bus stand is about 2KM from the lake and makes for a nice walk during the day.
