Vrindavan

Vrindavan (alternatively spelled Vrindaban, Brindavan, Brindavana, or Brundavan) also known as Vraj (as it lies in the Braj region) is a town in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is the site of an ancient forest which is the region where according to the Mahabharata, a grand Epic of Sanskrit literature dating back to the 3000 BCE, the deity Krishna spent his childhood days.

Bera, Mathura

Bera ('Badrivan) is a village or gram panchayat in Naujhil Block, Mat Tahsil of Mathura district, Utter Pradesh, India. Bera village is about 50 kilometres from Mathura on the Kher road joining to Aligarh. Before independence, this area was ruled by Jayas Raghav (Suryavanshi) Rajput Thakur and Brahmin as well.

Mathura district

Mathura District is a district of Uttar Pradesh state of northern India. The historic town of Mathura is the district headquarters. The district is bounded on the northeast by Aligarh District, on the southeast by Hathras District, on the south by Agra District, and on the west by Rajasthan and northwest by Haryana state. The district is part of Agra division. The district comprises several smaller units, called Tahsils.
