Rejang Lebong Regency

Rejang Lebong is one of the nine regencies (kabupaten or districts) of Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. It covers 4.109,8 km² and has a population of 450,000 (est. 2000). Rejang Lebong is divided into six subdistricts or kecamatan: Bermani Ulu, Curup, Kota Padang, Padang Ulak Tanding, Selupu Rejang, and Sindang Kelingi. The capital of the Rejang Lebong Regency is in the town of Curup.

Mount Kaba

Kaba, a twin volcano with Mount Hitam, has an elongated summit crater complex dominated by three large historically active craters trending ENE from the summit to the upper NE flank. The SW-most crater of Gunung Kaba, Kawah Lama, is the largest. Most historical eruptions have affected only the summit region of the volcano. They mostly originated from the central summit craters, although the upper-NE flank crater Kawah Vogelsang also produced explosions during the 19th and 20th centuries.

Bukit Daun

Bukit Daun is a stratovolcano, located in a sparsely populated region in Sumatra, Indonesia. A 600 m wide of crater lake is located at the summit. A smaller crater lake, Tologo Kecil, is found in the southwest flank.

Kepahiang Regency

Kepahiang is a regency of the province of Bengkulu in the south of Sumatra, Indonesia. The capital of the regency is Kepahiang. There are 8 subdistricts and 108 villages in this regency. In 2010, Kepahiang counted 125,001 inhabitants. Kepahiang has a total area of 66,500 hectares of which a high percentage (27%) is still forest. The local society consists of various ethnicities such as Rejang Kepahiang, Serawai, Javanese, Lembak and Sundanese. The Rejang Kepahiang are the majority in Kepahiang.
