Celebes Sea

The Celebes Sea of the western Pacific Ocean is bordered on the north by the Sulu Archipelago and Sulu Sea and Mindanao Island of the Philippines, on the east by the Sangihe Islands chain, on the south by Sulawesi, and on the west by Kalimantan in Indonesia. Mount Sahendaruman

Mount Sahendaruman is an extinct volcano located in southern part of Indonesian island of Sangihe . It is an area high in biodiversity in Wallacea, especially seen in the small forest patch in mountain slopes Mount Sahendaruman, the last remaining primary forest in Sangihe. Mount Sahendaruman is home to of three critically endangered and two endangered endemic bird species, the Caerulean Paradise-flycatcher, Sangihe Shrike-thrush, Sangihe White-eye, Elegant Sunbird and Sangihe Hanging-parrot.
