Salsabil

Salsabil is an Islamic Arabic term referring to a spring in paradise. It can also mean river or fountain in paradise. The sole Qur'anic reference is in sura Al-Insan. Salsabil can also be written as Salsabiil or even Salsabeel but "Salsabiil" is the most common name. "And there they will be given a cup whose mixture is of Zanjabil (ginger). A fountain there, called Salsabil.

2005 Zarand earthquake

2005 Zarand earthquake hit the city of Zarand and several villages in Kerman province of Iran on February 22, 2005. The earthquake happened at 5:55 local time and was measured at 6.4 on the Richter scale. The quake lasted for 11 seconds and at least 61 aftershocks were reported http://www. isna. ir/Main/NewsView. aspx?ID=News-499479 ranging in magnitude between 3.3 and 4.8. Zarand is located 740 km southeast of Tehran. The maximum recorded peak ground acceleration was 0.51 g at Shirinrud dam.
