Tara Hill, County Wexford

Tara Hill is an isolated hill near the Irish Sea coast in north County Wexford, Ireland. Though only 253 metres high (833 feet), it dominates the landscape of northeast Wexford. Due to its height relative to the surrounding landscape this hill qualifies as a Marilyn. It should not be confused with the much better known but much less prominent Royal Hill of Tara in County Meath, which is only 159m high.

Hollyfort (Irish: Ráth an Chuilinn, meaning "ringfort of the holly") is a village in north County Wexford, Ireland. It lies within the townland of Mongan (Irish: an Mongán, meaning "the little swamp") in the valley of the River Bann, 5 km northwest of Gorey. Historically it was called Rahincullin, which is an anglicisation of its Irish name.

Monaseed

Monaseed (Irish: Móin Na Saighead - meaning the boggy place of flint arrows) is a hamlet in North County Wexford. The tiny village centre comprises a Primary National School, a Catholic church, a Community Hall and a public house. Recent housing development has taken place outside the village boundary, which is itself very extensive relative to population. The village sign (see photo) is in a country lane at least a kilometre from the actual village.
