The Stazione Sperimentale per l'Industria delle Conserve Alimentari (SSICA) (Experimental Station for the Food Preserving Industry) is a special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce in Parma. 2008 Parma earthquake

The 2008 Parma earthquake was an earthquake with a magnitude of approximately 5.2 that struck Parma in Emilia-Romagna on the 23 December 2008 at 16:25 CET (local time) and was reportedly felt in Bologna, Milan and Florence, and even Trieste. Although no injuries and only minor damage was reported, the earthquake was relatively strong for the area, with the last strong earthquake in Italy (with a magnitude of approximately 5.4) being in 2002 in Molise.

The Orto Botanico di Parma, also known as the Orto Botanico dell'Università di Parma, is a botanical garden maintained by the University of Parma. It is located on the Viale Martiri della Libertà, Parma, Italy, and open daily without charge. The garden succeeds Parma's earlier Orto dei Semplici, a garden for medicinal plants, established by Ranuccio I Farnese, Duke of Parma.
