Autodromo Riccardo Paletti

Autodromo Riccardo Paletti is a motorsport race track near Varano in the Province of Parma, Italy. The track began as a small 550 m oval in 1969, and this was then expanded to a full 1.800 km, 11 turn race track. This new layout was inaugurated officially on 26 March 1972. In 2001 the layout was extended to a length of 2.375 km . The track is named after Formula One driver Riccardo Paletti, who was killed at the 1982 Canadian Grand Prix.

Veleia (Italy)

This is about the Roman town in Italy. See also Veleia (Spain). Veleia, an ancient town of Aemilia, Italy, situated about 20 miles south of Placentia. It is mentioned by Pliny among the towns of the eighth region, though the Veleiates were Ligurians by race. Its inhabitants were, in the census of Vespasian, found to be remarkable for their longevity. Nothing further was known of it until 1747, when some ploughmen found the famous Tabula alimentaria, now in the museum at Parma.

Demetrio Stratos

Efstratios Dimitriou (Greek: Ευστράτιος Δημητρίου; April 22, 1945 – June 13, 1979) better known as Demetrio Stratos was a Greek-born Italian lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, music researcher, and co-founder, frontman and lead singer of the Italian progressive rock, jazz fusion band Area – International POPular Group. Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, of Greek parents, he studied piano and accordion at the "National Conservatoire".

Corchia

For the French football player, see Sébastien Corchia. Corchia is a village in northwest Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Berceto in the Province of Parma, Emilia-Romagna. It is a settlement which maintains its medieval nucleus with stone houses, flag-stoned narrow lanes, archways and a Hostel dating back to the 12th century. Set in the chestnut groves of Val Manubiola, Corchia is an example of a medieval borough of northern Italy.

Monte Pelpi (Emilia Romagna)

Monte Pelpi is a mountain 1,495 metres (4,905 ft) high located in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in northern Italy. The mountain overlooks the towns of Bedonia to the south and Bardi to the north, and rises like a cone between the Taro, Toncina and Ceno valleys. The vegetation is very diverse with forests consisting of beech, oak, hazel, hornbeam and black aspen and includes rare species of arnicas, orchid, daffodils, gentian, daphne and anemones.
