Friuli

Friuli is an area of northeastern Italy with its own particular cultural and historical identity. It comprises the major part of the autonomous region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, i.e. the province (administrative provinces) of Udine, Pordenone, part of Gorizia, excluding Trieste. The historical capital and most important city of Friuli is Udine, it was also the capital in the Middle Ages of the Patriarchate of Aquileia.

Parco Botanico Friulano "Cormor"

The Parco Botanico Friulano "Cormor", also known as the Parco del Cormor or Parco Botanico del Cormôr, is a municipal park and botanical garden located in Udine, Friuli, Italy. The park was created 1990-93 by architect Roberto Pirzio Biroli on a neglected site northwest of the town center. It covers 30 hectares between the Cormôr torrent and the Autostrada Alpe-Adria (A23), with dense plantings of woodland, open lawns, a belvedere, paths and small roads, and a children's play area.

Stadio Friuli is a multi-purpose stadium in Udine, Italy. The stadium was built in 1976 and Friuli has a maximum capacity of 41,652 seats, partly covered, currently limited to a capacity 30,642. It is currently used mostly for football matches and the home of Udinese Calcio.

Palasport Primo Carnera

Palasport Primo Carnera is an indoor sporting arena located in Udine, Italy. The capacity of the arena is 3,850 people. It is currently home of the Pallalcesto Amatori Udine basketball team. It is named after former world heavyweight boxing champion Primo Carnera, who was born in Sequals, near Udine.
