Gorizia Hills

The Gorizia Hills (Italian: Collio Goriziano or Collio; Slovene: Goriška Brda) is a hilly landscape in the northeastern Italy and the southwestern Slovenia. The region is predominately a white wine producer with Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon blanc being the leading varietals. Venetian Slovenia

Venetian Slovenia is a small mountainous region in northeastern Italy . Most of the region is located in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the area between the towns of Cividale del Friuli, Tarcento and Gemona . It is part of the Province of Udine in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. A small part of the region is located in the municipality of Kobarid in Slovenia, in the mountainous area around the villages of Breginj and Livek.

Natisone

The Natisone is a 60 kilometres long river flowing in Slovenia and Italy. It flows for some time as a border river between Slovenia and Italy, continues in Slovenia and then crosses the border and continues in Eastern Friuli, in northeastern Italy. It is the main tributary of the Torre and a sub-affluent of the Isonzo.
