Civitavecchia railway station

Civitavecchia railway station (Italian: Stazione di Civitavecchia) serves the town and comune of Civitavecchia, the sea port for Rome, in the region of Lazio, central Italy. Opened in 1859, it forms part of the Pisa–Livorno–Rome railway. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services are operated by Trenitalia.

Tarquinia Airfield

Tarquinia Airfield is an abandoned World War II military airfield in the Lazio region of central Italy, about 6 km South-Southwest of Tarquinia. It was an all-weather temporary field built by the XII Engineer Command using a graded earth compacted surface, with a prefabricated hessian (burlap) surfacing known as PHS. PHS was made of an asphalt-impregnated jute which was rolled out over the compacted surface over a square mesh track (SMT) grid of wire joined in 3-inch squares.

Monti della Tolfa

The Monti della Tolfa or "Tolfa Mountains" are a volcanic group in the Anti-Apennines of the northern part of the Lazio region of central Italy. They are bounded by the Tyrrhenian Sea coast to the west, by the Monti Sabatini to the east, and by the Monti Cimini and the Mignone river to the north. Tolfa and Allumiere are the principal towns. The highest peak is the Monte della Grazie, at 616 m above sea level.

Gravisca

Gravisca or Graviscae was the port of the Etruscan city of Tarquinii, situated 8 km west of the city center. A colonia of Roman citizenship was established at the site in 181 BC.

Marta (river)

The Marta is an Italian river that flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its source is Lake Bolsena near Marta. It flows past Tuscania and is joined by a tributary that flows from the Cimini Hills. It then flows past Tarquinia and enters the Tyrrhenian Sea near Lido di Tarquinia.
