Cascate del Serio

Lago del Barbellino

Lago del Barbellino is the largest artificial lake in the Province of Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. Located in Valbondione the reservoir contains 18.5 million cubic metres of water. In 1931 a dam was built to supply hydroelectric power to the Seriana Valley where the textile industry was developing rapidly.
