The Valle Sabbia is the second-largest of the Tre Valli Bresciane, situated in the western part of the province of Brescia. It takes its name from the reto-ligurian people of the Sabini. It is where the Italian writer Gabriele d'Annunzio lived after his defenestration in 1922 until his death in 1938.
