Federation of Damanhur

The Federation Of Damanhur, often called simply Damanhur, is a commune, ecovillage, and spiritual community situated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy about 30 miles (50 km) north of the city of Turin. It is located in the foothills of the Alps in the Chiusella Valley, bordering on the Gran Paradiso National Park. The community has its own constitution and currency, the Credito. Damanhur is named after the Egyptian city of Damanhur which was the site of a temple dedicated to Horus.

Lago di Viverone

Lago di Viverone (in Piedmontese Lagh ëd Vivron) is a lake in northern Italy. Named after the town of Viverone, lies at 230 m AMSL between the districts of Biella, Vercelli and Ivrea in the area of morainic hills known as Serra. It has an area of about 6 km and a maximum depth of 70 m, and a perimeter of about 10.5 km. The lake is 3,500 m long and 2,600 m wide.

Lago di Candia

The Lago di Candia is a small, shallow Italian lake of glacial origin, located by the town of Candia Canavese in the Piedmontese province of Turin. Pont-Saint-Martin (bridge)

The Pont-Saint-Martin is a Roman segmental arch bridge in the Aosta Valley in Italy dating to the 1st century BC. The span is 103 feet according to recent research, but frequently stated to be 35.64 m or 36.65 m. Other extant Roman bridges in the Aosta valley include the Pont d'Aël in the Cogne Valley and the Pont de Pierre in Aosta.
