Musone

The Musone (anciently Misco) is a river in the Marche region of Italy. The source of the river is east of Matelica and south of Monte San Vicino in the province of Macerata. The river flows northeast before crossing into the province of Ancona. The river then flows southeast and is joined by a tributary south of Osimo before curving northeast near Loreto. Finally, the river empties into the Adriatic Sea north of Porto Recanati and south of Numana.

Stadio del Conero

Stadio del Conero was the home field of the Italian football club A.C. Ancona until 2010 when the club was canceled by each league. Currently it is the home of U.S. Ancona 1905 located in Ancona, Italy. It is an all seater built in 1992 with a capacity of 26,000.

Battle of Ancona

The Battle of Ancona was a battle involving forces from Poland serving as part of the British Army and German forces that took place from 16 June–18 July 1944 during the Italian campaign in World War II. The battle was the result of an Allied plan to capture the city of Ancona in Italy in order to gain possession of a seaport closer to the fighting so that they could shorten their lines of communication.
