Galera Airfield

Galera Airfield is an abandoned military airfield in the Umbria region of central Italy, 5.3 km south-southwest of Umbertide. Its last known use was by the United States Army Air Force Twelfth Air Force in 1943 during the Italian Campaign. Today, the site of the airfield is indistinguishable from the many agricultural fields in the area.

Cippus Perusinus

The Cippus Perusinus is a stone tablet discovered on the hill of San Marco, near Perugia, Italy, in 1822. The tablet bears 46 lines of incised Etruscan text. The cippus is assumed to be a text dedicating a legal contract between the Etruscan families of Velthina (from Perugia) and Afuna, regarding the sharing or use of a property upon which there was a tomb belonging to the noble Velthinas. The date of the inscription is considered to be 3rd or 2nd century BCE.

San Bevignate

San Bevignate is a church in Perugia, Umbria, central Italy. The church was commissioned by the Templars in substitution of their former church of San Giustino d'Arna, from which they had been ousted in 1277. San Bevignate, to whom it is entitled, was a rather mysterious local hermit who had a notable following among Perugia's people but was in fact never officially canonized. The church was built c. 1250.
