Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny
Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny, nicknamed "le Félicia", is a multi-purpose stadium, which can host football, rugby and athletics, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. It is the national stadium of the Côte d'Ivoire national football team. It is named after the first president of the country, Félix Houphouët-Boigny, and is located in the commune of Le Plateau. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 which can be expanded to 40,000. It also hosts matches of the ASEC Abidjan.

The Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny is a university in the Cocody section of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. It is one of the elite universities in the country and region. With over 50,000 students, the UCA contains 13 faculties and a research center, providing diplomas from 2 year undergraduate degrees to professional academic, medical, legal, and specialist degrees. It was the main campus of the nationwide University of Abidjan from 1964 to 1996, when it became an independent institution.

Second Abidjan Bridge is a road bridge over the Ébrié Lagoon which links the two halves of the city of Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire. The structure is a girder bridge, hollow box bridge with ten spans, two spans of 35 m and eight spans of 58 m each thus resulting a total length of 592 m.

Kenya Airways Flight 431 was an international scheduled Abidjan–Lagos–Nairobi passenger service, operated with an Airbus A310-300, that crashed into the sea, off the coast of Côte d'Ivoire, on 30 January 2000 at 21:09:24 GMT, shortly after takeoff from Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport. There were 179 people on board, of whom 169 were passengers. It was the first fatal accident for Kenya Airways.
