Prinzessin Victoria Luise

Prinzessin Victoria Luise was a German passenger ship of the Hamburg-America Line of some 4,409 gross register tons (GRT). She is credited with having been the first purpose-built cruise ship. Launched on June 29, 1900 she served with HAPAG until December 16, 1906 after being accidentally grounded off Jamaica.

Port Royal Cays

The Port Royal Cays is a small group of uninhabited islands or cays off Port Royal, Jamaica, located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:17|55|06.36|N|76|49|11.96|W| | |name= }} and arranged in the shape of an atoll with a diameter between 4 and 5 km, and a total area of 12 km². The land area is about 0.03 km². There are eight named cays, including South Cay Rock which is sometimes subsumed with South Cay. Gun Cay, the northernmost, is only 400 meters from the Jamaican mainland.

Lime Cay

Royal Cays</br>with islets and shoals]] Lime Cay is the main islet of the Port Royal Cays off Port Royal, Jamaica, located in the northeast of the reef. Located 15 minutes by boat from Port Royal, it has a small beach which makes it a popular location for recreation and sunbathing. It is a regular hotspot for post-party-goers, and during holiday season (Summer and Christmas) weekends the island is often swarmed with boats, music and socialites.

Green Bay massacre

The Green Bay Massacre was a covert operation carried out by special forces of the Jamaican Government on 5 January 1978, in which 5 Jamaica Labour Party supporters were shot dead. The operation entailed the luring of the men into an ambush at the Green Bay Firing Range by members of the Military Intelligence Unit which was and still is a covert operational wing of the Jamaica Defence Force.

Kingston Parish

Kingston is one of the 14 Parishes of Jamaica. Together with neighboring St. Andrew Parish, it makes up the consolidated administrative unit of Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation, or, informally the City of Kingston. Kingston Parish is 25 km² in area, with a population of 96,052 as of the 2001 census.
