Namioka, Aomori
Namioka, Aomori was a town located in Minamitsugaru District in central Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Namioka Town was located in the plains of central Aomori prefecture, bordered by the Ōu Mountains to the east. The area was part of Hirosaki Domain during the Edo period. In 1889, after the Meiji Restoration, Namioka Village was created on April 1, 1889. It was elevated to town status on June 1, 1940.

Aomori Velodrome
, also known as Jomon Bank Aomori Velodrome, is a velodrome located in Aomori City that conducts pari-mutuel Keirin racing - one of Japan's four authorized "Public Sports" where gambling is permitted. Its Keirin identification number for betting purposes is 12# (12 sharp). Aomori's oval is 400 meters in circumference. A typical keirin race of 2,025 meters consists of five laps around the course.
