Hasunuma, Chiba
Hasunuma, Chiba was a village located in Sanbu District, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Hasunuma Village was formed on April 1, 1889 within Musha District, Chiba. Musha District became part of Sanbu District from April 1, 1897. On March 27, 2006 Hasunuma was merged with the towns of Sanbu and Narutō, and Matsuo, all from Sanbu District to form the new city of Sanmu, and thus no longer exists as an independent municipality.

Under the Rivers Act of 1906 the Kuriyama is designated as a Class 2 River. The Kuriyama is known as the southernmost river in Japan with a salmon run. The Yamakuragawa Fishing Port is located at the mouth of the river in Yokoshibahikari.
