Ōmazaki Lighthouse
The Ōmazaki Lighthouse is a lighthouse located at the northernmost extremity of Honshū island, on Bentenjima, an island 600 meters off Cape Ōmazaki in Ōma, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. It is within the borders of the Shimokita Hanto Quasi-National Park. The Ōmazaki Lighthouse illuminates the Tsugaru Strait at the entrance to Mutsu Bay. Its light can be seen across the strait to Hokkaido. Work began on the Ōmazaki Lighthouse in September 1920, and it was first lit on November 1, 1921.

Kōsetsu-en

Hakodate Racecourse
is a horse racing track in Hakodate, Japan, built in 1896. During the period between 2008 and 2009, Hakodate Racecourse was closed for renovation and refurbishment of the grandstand. Work was completed in June 2010. As part of this refurbishment, Mitsubishi Electric installed a Diamond Vision Screen. Races that were supposed to be held at Hakodate during that period were moved to Sapporo Racecourse. Hakodate Racecourse has both a grass course, and a dirt course.
