Nangō, Aomori

Nangō, Aomori was a village located in Sannohe District in central Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Nangō Village was founded on April 1, 1889. On March 31, 1957 it merged with the neighboring villages of Shimamori and Nakazawa. On March 31, 2005 it was merged into the city of Hachinohe, and thus it no longer exists as an independent municipality. An inland village, Nangō had an agriculture-based economy.

Tanesashi Kaigan Hashikamidake Prefectural Natural Park

Tanesashi Kaigan Hashikamidake Prefectural Natural Park is a Prefectural Natural Park in southeast Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1953, the park spans the borders of the municipalities of Hachinohe and Hashikami. It derives its name from the Tanesashi Coast and Mount Hashikami .

Nagawa, Aomori

Nagawa, Aomori was a town located in Sannohe District in central Aomori Prefecture, Japan. On January 1, 2006 Nagawa was merged into the neighboring town of Nanbu, and thus it no longer exists as an independent municipality. Nakui Village was founded on April 1, 1889 from the merger of seven small hamlets, and neighboring Kitakawa Village was likewise formed from the merger of three small hamlets. On July 29, 1955, Nakui and Kitakawa merged to form the town of Nagawa.
