Amanohashidate Cable Car

The Amanohashidate Cable Car is Japanese funicular line in Miyazu, Kyōto. The line is also called Amanohashidate Cable Railway or Kasamatsu Cable, but it does not have any official name. This is the only funicular line Tango Kairiku Kōtsū (丹後海陸交通, "Tango Sea and Land Transport") operates, while it also operates buses and ships. The company is abbreviated as Tankai . The line opened in 1927 as a route to Nariai-ji temple, with a scenic view of Amanohashidate.

Amanohashidate

Amanohashidate (天橋立) is one of Japan's three scenic views. The sandbar is located in Miyazu Bay in northern Kyoto Prefecture. It forms part of the Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park.

Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park

Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park is a Quasi-National Park in northern Kyōto Prefecture, Japan. Established in 2007, the park comprises a number of non-contiguous areas of the former Tango Province, with a central focus on Mount Ōe and Amanohashidate, one of the Three Views of Japan.

Japanese destroyer Hatsushimo

Japanese destroyer Hatsushimo was the fourth of six Hatsuharu-class destroyer destroyers, built for the Imperial Japanese Navy under the Circle One Program (Maru Ichi Keikaku). Three were laid down in JFY 1931 and the next three in JFY 1933. The remaining six ships in the plan were built as the Shiratsuyu-class.
