Miho Dam

The Miho Dam is a multi-purpose dam on the Kawauchi River, a tributary stream of the Sakawa River in the town of Yamakita, Ashigarakami District, Kanagawa Prefecture on the island of Honshū, Japan. The dam is located within the borders of the Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park.

Lake Tanzawa

, is a lake located to the east of Mt. Fuji in Yamakita town, Ashigarakami district, in the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan. It was created due to construction of the Miho dam in 1978. The lake and its surroundings are frequently visited during fall to admire autumn colors.

Yaga Station (Kanagawa)

is a train station on the Gotemba Line located on the southern part of Yamakita, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Initially primarily a freight station, used to transport firewood and charcoal from the Tanzawa Mountains, Yaga Station now serves only passenger traffic to nearby Lake Tanzawa and the Nakagawa onsen resorts. Japan National Route 246 passes next to this station.

Shasui Falls

is a waterfall on the Tanzawa River in Yamakita, Ashigarakami District Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The Shasui Falls is located in the precincts of Saishō-ji, a Buddhist temple, and has been used by yamabushi and Buddhist clergy for takegyo purification ceremonies, where participants stand underneath the fall, allowing the water to strike their head and upper body. The Shasui Falls drops in three separate plunges with a total height of 90 meters.
