Togakushi Shrine

The Togakushi Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Togakushi, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The shrine is located at the base of Mount Togakushi (1,904 metres) within Jōshin'etsu Kōgen National Park. Togakushi Shrine consists of five shrines, known as the lower, middle, and upper shrine area (Togakushi houkosha,Hino-miko-sha,Togakushi chū-sha,Togakushi oku-sha and kuzuryu-sha respectively), each area about 2 km apart.

Mount Iizuna

, also known as Mount Izuna, is a mountain located ten kilometers north-northwest of the heart of Nagano, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Together with Mount Reisenji, Mount Menō, and others, it forms the Iizuna range. It has an elevation of 1,917 metres. This mountain is a sacred site for mountain-based religious sects such as Shugendo, and said to be the home of a tengu named Saburō.

Iizuna Kogen Ski Area

Iizuna Kogen Ski Area is a skiing area located in Iizuna, Nagano, Japan. Constructed on existing alpine skiing runs, it hosted the freestyle skiing events for the 1998 Winter Olympics. The venue was a temporary one for those games. The area still is a popular skiing venue.

Spiral (bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton)

The Spiral is a bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track located in Iizuna village, located north of Nagano, Japan. Used for the bobsleigh and luge competitions for the 1998 Winter Olympics, it is the only permanent bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track in Asia and the only one of its type in the world with two uphill sections. It is officially referred to as the Nagano Bobsleigh-Luge Park in Japan.
